Resources
If you have read our work for a while, you know BoldTimers sits at an intersection that rarely gets served well. Experienced professionals asking real questions about what their next chapter looks like. People who have earned their expertise and now want to put it to work in a way that actually matters to them.
Good questions deserve good tools.
This page is where we keep the resources our coaches, contributors, and founders have built for you. Each one exists because someone inside BoldTimers recognized a specific need, sat down, and made the thing they wished they’d had earlier in their own transition.
These are free and publicly accessible. No email signup required.
The Ripple Journey Flipbook
by María Tomás-Keegan, BoldTimers Co-founder & Chief Coaching Officer
The Ripple Journey is the framework María developed to describe what the encore transition actually feels like when you are inside it. Five stages: The Drop (the moment something has to change), the Inner Wave (small habits that restore steadiness), the Middle Wave (where connection becomes the bridge), the Outer Wave (letting experience serve), and Still Water (integration and renewal).
This flipbook brings all five stages together in a single readable format. You can open it on your phone or laptop and move through at your own pace. No download required.
If you have ever tried to explain to someone what this season of life feels like and watched them reach for the word “retirement,” this is the language that works better.

The Strategic Résumé Guide for Experienced Professionals
by Jessica Aebi, J.Aebi Coaching, prepared for BoldTimers
A 47-page guide built specifically for professionals with 20 or 30 years of experience who need to compete in a job market now running on AI-generated applications and skeptical recruiters. Jessica has worked with nearly 1,000 senior leaders, including Directors, VPs, and C-suite executives, through career transitions. This guide captures the positioning strategy she uses with her clients.
What is inside:
The clarity work you need to do before you open the document
The two-part structure of a strong role entry: container paragraph plus achievement bullets
How to address gaps in employment without apology
How to cherry-pick company context to align with your target role
Formatting choices that actually matter, and the ones that do not
A realistic take on what Applicant Tracking Systems do and do not do
Checklists for content, formatting, and final polish
This is the guide for anyone who has looked at a blank résumé template and thought, “Decades of real work, and I have no idea where to start.”

Meaning Repair for High-Stakes Teams: Module 1
by Jerry W. Washington, Ed.D., BoldTimers Co-founder & Chief Community Officer
Module 1 of a 10-module course Jerry developed after reviewing 131 sources across eight academic disciplines. The core finding: teams already have the communication tools that work. What is missing is the infrastructure that makes people use them under pressure.
Module 1 introduces the framework. What happens when meaning drifts inside a team, how that drift gets suppressed rather than repaired, and what it takes to activate repair before the cost becomes visible on a performance review, a hospital chart, or a war college after-action report.
This module is free on Jerry’s What Time Binds Substack. It is for leaders, facilitators, coaches, and anyone working with teams where misalignment has real consequences.
If Module 1 is useful to you, the full 10-module course is available through What Time Binds.
How to Use This Library
These three resources were built for different moments inside the same larger transition. The Ripple Journey Flipbook gives you a map of the emotional terrain. The Strategic Résumé Guide gives you a toolkit for the practical work of positioning. Module 1 gives you a framework for working with teams, whether your own or the ones you coach.
You do not have to read them in any order. Pick the one that speaks to what is in front of you right now.
What Is Coming
This library will grow. Over the coming months, we plan to add:
Free workshops and guides from our coaching bench
Tools developed by BoldTimers collaborators and guest contributors
When we add a new resource, we will announce it in the BoldTimers Substack and add the link here.
If you have built something that belongs in this library (a tool, a guide, a workshop, or another resource BoldTimers readers would use), email Jerry at jwashington@boldtimers.com.
